PC, i7 @ 3.20GHz 12GB Ram 1920 x 1080 @ 60 Hz
win 7 home premium GTX 670

Run Skyrim on max settings, with 2K and 4K textures - fine! Witcher 3 - intermittent super lag (10 15 secs): cut scenes and in game. Did web search, did as recommended re: Nvivia card, etc. BTW, articles say nvidia works with witcher 3,
I have even set graphics to low, and turned off hair works and all the post processing stuff. Lag same.

Bottom line: GOG, (who sold me this game) better get a real, usable document together with fixes that actually work. Game is unplayable with intermittent lag $#$#&$ every 2 minutes or so. After several hours scouring the web - and finding no solution that works. I'm going to be looking for my money back very soon if this problem (which MANY others experience as well) is not addressed.

For this kind of problem you should contact support instead of adding a new thread...

Repeat request: Since this seems to be a widespread issue affecting many people, a well researched document from the support people addressing this is in order.

You are at the lowest end of the minimum requirements, what do you expect?

your gpu is an antique potato. This isn't Skyrim from 2011. This is 2015. Time for an upgrade.
I have an Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 and the game runs PERFECTLY with most settings on High and some on Ultra (it only lags a little with hairworks on and maxed out when many models or furry enemies are on screen)... are you sure your video drivers are up-to-date?
Maybe you should check this before crying...

P. S. Same processor speed (even if mine is an i5) and 16GB RAM

Hiya.
I have a gtx 680 and had to limit it to 30fps and medium settings to get it to work well.
It still lags a wheee bit here and there, like when there is fog or whatnot.

Did you try limiting the fps to 30?

You are being over sensitive, Your GPU is out of date for this game. That is just the truth.. Need a GTX 970 or higher to enjoy this game to it's fullest.

Don't listen to them, most of the guys here are IT wannabes with no knownledge at all, and come in here spreading misinformation. GTX 670 is still supported and a good card nowadays.

This is a video proving the card can run The Witcher 3 at Ultra settings, for the IT wannabes, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XL48xtib-W4

Now, for the real issue at hand, check your drivers or any other third-party software that may affect your performance.

Also GoG has nothing to do with The Witcher 3, they only sell the game, you'll want to contact CD Projekt. Even though they belong to the same company, doesn't mean CD Projekt has developers wasting their time here, it's two separate teams, nothing to do with one another.

You'll have better luck on CD Projekt forums.

Game stutters and lags now after 1.11. Never had this before.
