Hello, I have TW3 GOTY edition in my library because I own the base + the expansion pass. Can I use my old save file to start newgame+ in the GOTY edition? If so, will all the achievements be unlocked upon loading this file?

I know consoles can not do this, but I'm just curious if the PC can because we can move files around etc... If anyone has done this please let me know if it works or not, thanks!!

You don't need to install the GOTY edition. It is exactly the same game as the base with all DLC. The only difference is the GOTY comes as one single installer. Just carry on with the base game +expansions. As to using your old saves, yes you can on PC, but as far as achievements go I cannot say as I don't use Galaxy.

Thanks, it's good knowing that if I need to reinstall TW3 for any reason I can go with the GOTY installer and use my old saves. That was most important. Achievements aren't as important, but would be a nice bonus if they unlocked.
