Waste of money buying.
Waste of time downloading.
Waste of disc space.

Just keeps crashing.

If it does run controls seem to change function each time they are used.

Dialogues and menus in some weird foreign language.

It sounds like you're having a disappointing experience with The Witcher 3. Crashing issues, inconsistent controls, and language problems can definitely detract from the enjoyment of a game. Here are a few suggestions:
Update Graphics Drivers: Make sure your graphics drivers are up to date, as outdated drivers can sometimes cause crashing issues.
Verify Game Files: If you downloaded the game through a platform like Steam, you can verify the integrity of the game files to ensure they haven't been corrupted during the download process.
Check System Requirements: Ensure that your computer meets the minimum system requirements for running the game. If your system falls short, you may encounter performance issues.
Language Settings: Check the language settings in the game options to switch to a language you understand better.
Reach Out to Support: If you continue to experience issues, consider reaching out to the game's support team or forums for assistance. They may be able to provide troubleshooting steps or patches to resolve your issues.

If none of these solutions work, you may want to consider requesting a refund if possible, especially if you're unable to enjoy the game due to technical issues.

Maybe I shouldn't say this, but thank you for a calm, rational, helpful response, Nikitaa25.

Why? You're telling the truth.

I definitely agree with that. But after such a brain-dead opening post, it's like throwing pearls before swine.
You know MaxStrauss: maybe you're right, but I've decided to do what little I can to encourage people to act more reasonably online. It won't make any large (or even medium) scale difference and it might not make any difference at all, but in the occasional instances I see someone acting reasonably in face of nastiness, I have to show them a little support.

ArthurWalden: ...but I've decided to do what little I can to encourage people to act more reasonably online.. .
We have the same concern, but different methods, ArthurWalden. My tool is deterrence: I want to prevent threads with absurd, unrealistic expressions of opinion from being opened as much as possible. Rants of this "quality" only cause the reader to shake their heads violently - babies would suffer from shaken trauma at this frequency.

So I would like to encourage this OP to take his complaints to Mom and Dad first. He must be aware that he is embarrassing the entire family. You might object: But Mom just grimaces and Dad gives a clip round the ear - still. They have legal guardianship. And that is also an obligation.

I would like to recommend to the OP that he adheres to the age limit of 18 years. What is meant here is not age, but mental age.

MaxStrauss, you seem to believe the best way to deal with trolls it to be a troll yourself...

You're right, ArthurWalden. Read the title of this thread and you'll know instantly that this OP can't be dealt with reason. My worst fear was that Nikitaa would succeed with his noteworthy post - and the OP would actually play the game. That could have been something ******. Alarm bells are ringing for me.

Well, thanks to my efforts everything went well again. A gif says more than a thousand words...

No it doesn't if you don't click on random forum links :)

Absolutely correct. With this technique...

...the message remains hidden from you. But if I had used 5000 words instead of 5 gifs! Unimaginable. Especially since the message wasn't aimed at you, but at the OP. (!)

By the way: These smileys of type -) are outdated. Isn't that much more attractive?

MaxStrauss:
At least smileys are instantly understandable instead of having to click on some unidentified link to an off-site page to try and find out what you are trying to convey.

I know the original answer wasn't aimed at myself but maybe the reason you never got a reply from the OP was because of your habit of just putting a link in your replies with no context. Not everyone will click an unknown link found in a forum. Was just trying to be helpful but hey-ho. I'll not be replying to you again.

Unfortunately, that is not the case. As I have said before and cannot repeat often enough: A gif is worth a thousand words. In this case, it was enough to convince the OP that his expression of opinion could hardly be surpassed in terms of naivety. So he was completely right to take the same route as Celina:

It is deeply regrettable that the gifs prompted you to take the same route, even if your contributions were not particularly helpful.

Sounds like you need a new computer with an SSD, better CPU, better GPU and more disc space. Best wishes!
