Hi, do anyone have a Linux release date for The Witcher 3? Or at least a how-to play it on wine please.

W3 was supposed to arrive on SteamOS, but I believe it'll never be release. It requires DX 11, Nvidia GameWorks and it's too big to virtualize it like it had been done on W2 three years ago. And the latter already does badly.

No dates were announced. CDPR are working on it (or may be some third party - there are no details on it yet). They said they aren't ready to announce the date so far. My guess is - the middleware that TW3 depends on is still being ported to Linux.

Wine plans to add DX11 support sometime in the end of 2015. Until then Wine won't be an option.

si bien, todavía, no hay una fecha de lanzamiento especifica, gamingonlinux tine un calendario de lanzamientos bastante acertado, en donde especula que se lanzaría para el
1º de Septiembre

estoy esperando ansioso TW3. pero sólo lo adquiero si brinda soporte a mi plataforma...

por otro lado, ya es hora de que GOG Galaxy se haga ver en Linux de una vez...

Did anyone get this game to work through wine?
