I'm having some issues with The Witcher 3, and it just started happening when I tried to play the game today.
It was working just fine yesterday, with no issues at all.

Anyway, the terrain is bugged in various places, causing it to not show properly. Some terrain is showing incorrectly, so it shows Geralt walking right through it instead, or that he's hovering in the air.

I apologize for my awful grammar. There are some pictures below, to show what I'm talking about.

I've tried reinstalling the game, changing any in-game settings that I could find, and so on.

Any tip on how to solve this would be greatly appreciated. The game is more or less unplayable because I keep falling through the ground, thinking I'm running on the ground when there's nothing there.

Yepp, I had no issues prior to 1.04.

Ok,you can't revert to 1.03.You will need to wait for a fix or re-install as far
as 1.03 or good working stage.It appears that every new patch is breaking
the previous patch,my advise watch the forum when new patches come
out.I'm still using 1.02 and have had no problems,sorry but that's the best
I can do.You could also lower your graphics and see if that helps.

Hmm, any idea as to how I would go about to stop at a specific patch when reinstalling the game?

I tried lowering the graphics as low as I could, but the problem remains sadly.

I don't use Galaxy,that would stop that problem.
Manually install game.

Try deleting your old witcher 3 graphics profile see if that helps.

I had a weird issue with windmills in 1.03, at least from a distance they were just black empty spots. I did a verify files thing, rebooted the PC and the load game showed a proper windmill after that. Not saying it will do anything for you, or even that it did anything for me. W3 has its fair share of oddities. Hope it helps you in some way.

Yes,sometimes going back to desktop helps.Never had to do a re-boot though,just to the desktop was enough.
