Yes I second this! Aren't there more GoG W3 owners who have picked up a Steam Controller and want a working template? My game is added to my Steam library.

My assumption is that this Controller works fine and has config templates if it is the Steam version. My actual Steam games seem to find working templates and assign by default (user or official)

BTW - here's the workaround. You have to use the Desktop Config:
Start Steam - Big Picture mode, then click the Gear icon, and under Controller select Configurations. Here you edit the Desktop Configuration. By default it will have a template good for using the Controller for browsing around the desktop and Steam interface but no good for games.
Select Browse Configs
Go down to Templates and select one of the three there (i.e. Gamepad with High Precision Camera) and you can tweak a lot from there. You may want to go back to the default Desktop Config later to use your computer from the Controller more easily when not in game.

The same is true for me with GTA5 because I have the Rockstar Games version (also added into Steam library)

This WILL give you a playable controller, just not a saved config for that specific game. The three templates are all set up very similar to an Xbox controller scheme.

In fact maybe a template can be saved in the desktop config section, and that's how you can workaround for non Steam games. Hope this helps.

I just got my steam controller and i added the W3 to my steam. It works as an analog controller or wsad + mice combo
the problem starts when you try to use the way its should be used. So if i use the left analog stick and a right touch pad as a mice in the same time it creates a terrible lag. ( my machine is an overkill so thats not the case)
No other added game have that problem. It looks like a GOG W3 have a problem with using controller and mice in the same time. This makes the game unplayable!
