So I played Witcher for a while and before finishing the game I need to upgrade from windows 7 to windows 10. I coped all the save folders for witcher to a USB drive. After installing windows 10 I got a bit busy and didn't get back to witcher for quite a few months. After reinstall I couldn't get my save to show up, I put the files back in same save folders but when I launch the game they don't show up.

Unfortunately, I don't remember what version I was on when I copied the save. Is it a version mismatch or maybe wrong folder, or maybe you can't even restore saves the way I did?

So I have finished the game and now I'm aiming for platinum, unfortunately there are 2 problems, 1 I've finished the game in blood and broken bones difficulty and there's a trophy for death March, and 2 I lost at the last passifora tournament game, never saved because I didn't think I'd never be able to get the cards afterwards, I havent played the dlc yet and I plan to start ng+ now and switch it to death March and play them then, also I don't have any Witcher gear and never brew a potion in my entire life(unless it was mandatory) so my question is do they matter or should I just jump into ng+?, another question, would the early game enemies be extremely easy or would they be a higher level since it's ng+?
