The reason I bought a second copy of W3 on PC (my original was on PS4) was so that I could mod it. I really love the mods that I have and I don't want to have the new update conflict with them. I have the game just the way I like it.

It's a nice update for people that want it, but please just give us the ability to choose. Thank you.

I second this.

However the solution is to download offline installers while you still can and install the game from them. That should make the game protected from any further updates I hear.

And that's the reason I buy the GOG version now (already have the GOTY from Steam).
