Hey lads,
my problem:

I want to play Witcher 3 with the New Game + mode, because I finished the game one year ago (with all DLC´s etc.) and don´t want to replay the whole gathering missions..

The game version is 1.31(A). The install is new and synchronising with Galaxy Cloud worked just fine.
When I select New game+ and have to choose a savegame the game just displays that the save hasnt a finished main story...
I searched for similiar problems and found a few that dated back to 2016.
The work-arounds inclusive the save game and load again thing did not work.

The New game+ DLC is installed and activated.

are you using galaxy. launch the game without galaxy. can you start it then?

I treid to start it without GOG, but everytime I start via .exe, it opens up the GOG Communicator (which can only be seen in the Task manager...)
But I don´t think, that it is a Galaxy problem.

I just want to play, damn it...

But gathering all the stuff again, leveling etc...

I am level 89 :(

Your save is in Toussaint. To play a New Game Plus game you must make a manual save *immediately* after completing the game, when the game puts you back in Kaer Morhen.

it's unclear as to the state of things. the save itself needs to be a manual save after a certain point in the main game. if you reached that, it gives you a message saying you can now start a new game plus. it doesn't matter which region the manual save exists. my new game plus was recently started from corvo bianco. the issue can probably be linked to galaxy which is why i needed you to try and start the game without galaxy. it could just be a corrupt installation - since there are many issues reported from galaxy users.

This means I have to replay it, doesnt it?

I got the message saying I could start New Game+ when finishing the main game, but instead finished the DLC´s afterwards...
I deinstalled GOG and still it did not work when saving manually and try to start NewGame+.


I love the game, but that particular bug is f**** up :(.
Collecting the stuff again isn´t the reaason I want to play again and I would hate to start completly new.

Glad I found this topic, I'm preparing for the final battle and have yet to play the expansion missions on GOTY version, so I'm better off finishing all the DLC, then the last mission? Or my save will wind up like this correct?

I am at my 3th playthrough,so, better finish main game, after that finish HoS, aftert that go to BaW.
