My game stopped working after I found Triss in the Putrrid Grove. We left and went to Kluge's house . The problem occurs when Kluge tells us to leave via the trapdoor. Triss zones out and just stares as if she is in a trance. I climb down the ladder and after a while she attempts to climb down, but her body slides through the rungs and she goes into her trance stare again. I went to the canal and walked down and when I get there under the bridge she shows up. She screws up again climbing the ladder from the canal to the street. Again I left her after she became trapped between the rungs again.
I walked alone to the fat flour merchant and she appears again, but a second later the game bombs. I cancelled the game and deleted the games file and restarted the game and again after three days at the same point it does the same thing.
Another bit of weirdness. I have two Redainian halbediers and normally they are red. Both of mine are light gray. Something is wierd in GoGland. I also verified the game files three times and each time it says the files are good. I also ran a new chkdsk to check for drive errors on my harddrive and two different programs told me that there are no errors on my drive. I am at a loss as to what is going on. I have played Witcher 3 four times on Steam all the way to the end with nothing like this happening on this same computer. Steam sucks with no way to contact them about problems so I left them. Does anyone else have a problem at this point?
