My internet is really slow (like 100KB/s slow) so i tend to go into town and download games on my crappy laptop at cafes and then move it to my much better desktop at home. I tried to do that with the witcher 3 but the game won't be found on my computer when i look for it using gog galaxy. is there any way to move it from one pc to the other?
I figured it out, apparently you can't use windows search to find the .exe for the game, you have to go to "The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt GOTY\bin\x64\witcher3.exe" and open that executable instead
I also downloaded the offline installer (from GoG library) several days ago at work because of much faster Internet. I'll try to import it into GoG Galaxy tomorrow and see if I run into the same problem.
Ok, I installed Witcher 3 using the offline installer, and on the next launch, Galaxy automatically recognized the game, imported it and patched to v1.31A. So it must be something on your end.

Note that both Galaxy and the game are installed in non-system folders (E:\Games\Galaxy and E:\Games\GoG\The Witcher 3 - Wild Hunt respectivelly)
