Hi all

I took quite a long break from the Witcher 3 (last patch I loaded was 1.07) having progressed a little past act 2 and then uninstalled due to all the glitches and my disc space being eaten away by Unreal Engine 4 (please, don't make me choose between game playing and game making!). I was anticipating 1.08 fixing a lot, and 1.10 fixing most issues and then planned to re-install and continue with my save.

However, a few quick reads seem to show that 1.10 has presented new problems (quests still broken, performance issues, graphics glitches etc). Are these isolated issue or are they widespread?

Is it worth me re-installing with 1.10, or will I just get frustrated again? Wait for a few more patches?

Thanks!

It might be worth the hazzle to try and see after those so called "bug reports":

- some things can be encountered with using NG+
- some "bugs" only will be encountered when you do not download "DLC 16" and install this alongside 1.10
- some (guess a lot) "bugs" you will only see when you have installed some mods that are not updated to work with W3 1.10
- some "bugs" you will only get if you have adjusted things (from key bindings to grafix) simply wrong.

If you look at it: out of 10 reported bugs here on this forum maybe 7 are about the same issue, thus further minimizing what looks like to be a crappy game.

Myself - no exception: I stopped at 1.06 (no bugs until this time) because I believed all those bad news about patches that only introduced more bugs.
But then I installed 1.08.4 and had no bugs, followed by 1.10 with no bugs, and finally HoS with no bugs!

CDPR really did one hell of a job (positive sense) both in programming and certainly concerning the graphics!

OK, there had been the silly walk, there are minor graphical things that could be fixed, but as a whole W3 is only behaving "weird" under mostly user made circumstances.

i7-2600 @3.40GHz
16 GB RAM
NVidia GeForce GTX 960 4G
Win 7/64

EDIT:

Forgot >>> add Galaxy as a possible cause for weird things to come!
Hands off, not worth the hazzle.

Hi zerebrush

Thanks for the reply. Up to patch 1.07 I had mostly graphic glitches (armor detaching from people, horses with three heads etc) and a few performance issues, but nothing groundbreaking. I was hoping with 1.10 the game would be more polished which I am sure it must be. Never installed any mods, and do not use Galaxy at all.
Guess I will just have to try it for myself, I cringe though at the size of the patch since I only have a 2Mbps connection!

Cheers!
