Hello everyone,

I just wanted to download my Witcher 3 via GOG Galaxy. It looked fine and good so far, but it just don´t download the last bit (1 MB). After some research, I found the workaround to leave GOG, restart and try to repair, but there isn´t anything to repair because the download was not finished.

With my older PC the installation worked just fine, I have no idea what the problem is to be honest.

I have no idea if this helps, but here are my specs from my PC:

Processor: Intel Core i7 5820 k
RAM: 16 GB
Card: AMD Fury X
Windows 7, 64 Bit

Maybe I should try it over the homepage, but it worked in Galaxy before and I have no idea, what is wrong :/

Hopefully someone has a good advise for me!

Thank you in advance!

Cheers!

Hello

unfortunately we're aware of this issue, but we haven't found a solution yet. Please report it by mantig.gog.com with all details possible.

as a workaround I might recommend you downloading a backup installer, install it and import into Galaxy.

Hi,

Is this still an issue? Downloading day one patch through Galaxy. Download stops on 99.7% each time of the 304mb download. What to do?
Further, for some reason the old Gog Downloader is not displaying anything on any of my computers so I cannot select from a list to download any games. It is just a grey screen with my login details on the bottom.

GOG Downloader won't display anything on it's own, you need to initiate the download through browser. Go to Account > Witcher 3 > More > Gog Downloader Links. It should open a page with numerous links. Clicking them should bring up Downloader, which should begin downloading selected file. You can queue multiple files, too.

Thank you! I misunderstood how the Gog Downloader works. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
