I'm really bothered by how the skip for recap videos works right now. My machine is fast enough to load way before even half of the recap cinematic video is finished in most cases. I can skip them, sure, but the skip key only works after the loading is complete, and there is no indication that it is actually finished, so I have to keep spamming space or X or whatever until it works. I don't want to disable the recap cinematics completely with a mod, the recaps are nice for when you load from the main menu screen. But this is a bit silly for loading quick saves during gameplay. It works fine if I die as there is no recap, but if I just want to load my quick save, I have to deal with the recap. I can see a lot of options that would improve this significantly, and I'd be very happy with any of these:

1. Just don't do the recap for quick saves unless you're loading straight from the main menu;
2. Either show the loading progress bar during the recap or display a "press Space to skip" message when the loading is complete like it works in the intro video. Perhaps both make even more sense;
3. Just accept the skip key even if the loading is not done yet, then when the loading completes fade out as though I had pressed it at that point. Don't make me spam keys until it works.
The developer is CD Projekt Red, not GOG.
Unless this is your very first time playing, I would try to persuade you to rethink disabling them completely with a mod. Unless there are big gaps in between your play sessions, you really don't need the recaps at all, and your quality of life will be much improved without having to deal with them.
