the quest marker (gangs of novigrad) leads me to the entrance of the arena but i cant find a way to destroy it :/

i went with the dwarfs inside and killed all the thughs but nothing happens after i killed them all... and the quest marker is still at the entrance of the arena!

Are you sure you killed everyone and looted the quest-item documents inside?

i am (almost) sure i killed everyone and looted everyone but there was no quest item, all there was, was a miniature treasure chest which i had no key for.

There should be documents in there implicating whoreson with a certain faction.

interesse: i am (almost) sure i killed everyone and looted everyone but there was no quest item, all there was, was a miniature treasure chest which i had no key for.
Search every inch and use your witcher senses. I'm 99% positive that you missed a guy or two.

It's more subtle than killing all the mobs...you go in with dwarfs. If they all die first = failed quest
