Does anyone know if there's a way to hide the message that comes up on cutscenes saying "press [space] to skip"?

I would like to know the same thing. It is too much intruding.

The pop up with the controller being changed even tough it isn's is also annoying as hell.

I'd like to not have to hit [Space], since I already remapped 'Jump' to a mouse button....

This will have to be a patch fix or thru the config file and yes it is a pain:-)

Not sure how it passed QA - to skip we need to press twice space ! weird

I thought it didn't come up till you pressed something. Press once for prompt and then again to skip. Personally I'd rather it just skipped through to the next dialogue prompt rather than having to press it twice for every line. I only use it scenes/convos I'm repeating so I'm not going to miss anything.

Yes, Devs, please let us toggle these messages off, as well as "You use controller now" and "You use keyboard now" messages.

You're right in that it doesn't show up until you press something but I like to take many screenshots and the message that comes up is way too intruding and ruins the screenshots.

Was there ever a fix for this? For some reason my game is now showing the skip msg when I try to take screenshots with the controller, it wasn't doing this before and seems to be registering the guide button on the controller as a keyboard press????
