Just curious if Yen,Triss, or Ciri ever show up again in these DLCs? I have mods related only to them & will delete those mods if they don't show up here. Thanks

From what I've seen I'm pretty sure the first DLC is just with Shani, the second I'm finally playing for the first time, cannot wait..

No, none of the main W3 characters (except Geralt) are in the expansions, which are totally self-contained.

That's kind of a shame. I just went through hell getting this functional, and running like a dream, was thinking of tossing in a few mods, thanks for the heads up, though..

Nothing stopping you adding mods. The expansions run within the main game, even though they're self-contained. If you want mods that add content to the expansions you just need to find them.

Oh, plenty was when the game was broken there for a while.. Turned out to be the most asinine thing, too. Malwarebytes.. Hah, who would've guessed some app for my work security would mess with this?

No, I meant, shame the mods for those characters aren't enjoyable with some appearances in the final DLC even. No worries. ;)

It's possible for Yen or Triss to appear in Blood and Wine.

I believe there is also a single line of new dialogue from them regarding Geralt's face mark in Hearts of Stone.

I do indeed thank u guys for the responses. Triiss was a sweetie most of the time & Yen was like ..can't live with her and can't live without her. Ciri was just simply amazing. I just finished up the Heart of Stone & have to admit...there were a few times..I almost quit trying to finish it. I "loathe" timed events!! lol

Playing thru Blood & Wine now & received a letter from Yennefer delivered by a a boy..

without spoiling anything, one of the main characters from the game should appear, depending on how your main game ended
