Ok, so I've had a longer break from The Witcher 3 and now I found out you somehow can play a New Game+. Now, for some reason, it is not simple nor easy to begin. I got the info after finishing the main storyline, however before starting the new game+, I wanted to fnish the DLCs (these are Hearts of Stone, Blood and Wine). So now I have literally searched the whole Internet and found not a single sollution to my problem.

So what I do:
- I do have a save from when I want to start (after finishing main storyline)
- I choose new game
- pick the difficulty level
- Choose whether or not I want tips and a little talk with the dear general
- And here, the game does not ask me whether I want a new game+, it intantly begins the game. Normal one.

I don't even know anymore if I even have the New Game+ DLC installed, but considering I got info I can start a New Game+ I think I do. Otherwise, I don't even know where to look for it. In the past it was simple, now I have no idea.

When you go through new game options, i'm pretty sure it asks if you want to start new game plus, and you choose a compatible save game. Make sure you have the dlc installed. If you have goty, it's automatic, if you have normal, i think there is a section on the main menu mentioning installed dlc

Edit - if your using galaxy, then that can be an issue. Try verify / repair. Some users have reported that you intentionally have to damage your game by deleting some game files before galaxy will repair correctly, otherwise a fresh install of your game via offline installers. You should backup your saves from my documents

Also new game plus only works on manual saves iirc

New game plus only starts from a manual save right after the finish of the main campaign, where the game places you inside the now empty Kaer Morhen. You *must* make a manual save there and use that saved game.
