Hi there,

I've got the game (v. 1.32) installed on my pc. GOG Galaxy is up to date.

When I look for updates I'm not offered the next-generation update.

Do I need the complete edition to get this update?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

With update u may have many problems and size of the update it's the same like downloading whole new game. That's why it's best way to just download and install whole new game with Complite Edition.

Does that mean buying the complete edition? It's shown for €10 in the store. Or can I reinstall the game and still get the next-gen update?

Have you looked at the download links in your account? On the GoG website, mouse over the dropdown next to your username and select games. On the shelf, navigate to the Witcher 3 and click it. On the left side, you should see the installers for v4.00 - the RTX/Enhanced Edition. On the right side, under extras, there should be 1.32, the Classic Version.

Did this work for you Coltrane or did you find that you had to purchase the Complete Edition?
Guys you don't have to buy the game again. If you check your account with games you will notice that u now own the complete edition unless u did not own the expansions - then the game will show just as normal witcher 3 but its still has the update for it. If you for some reason you cant update yet u can try to copy/cut the game somewhere else on your SSD and then redownload the entire updated game (the patch is almost as big as the game itself)

FYI: This same issue happened with me and I had to select "verify and repair" - now it appears to be downloading the (very large) update.
