So i cant install my patch because it is forced to install to c:/gog games/witcher 3

Yes i changed the path in the galaxy client and even then it forced witcher 3 to install to c:\gog games\
I then had to move the whole folder to where i wanted it to be, and use the import feature in the galaxy client.

But now the patch just wants to install to the same default directory and the game is not even in that folder anymore. Come on, i have not seen any game in the last 5 years or so that does not detect where your games is and then install it to the correct folder.

Hehe no problem. I had the same fear that I would have to download the entire thing again as the Galaxy client doesn't keep a backup of the install files. However, with those reg changes it works. I'm in the game now.. but can't really play properly right this moment, so I have the game minimised and helping out here.

My problem stemmed from an issue with the client during purchasing wiping out my purchase and when i got back to cart and put through order a version of a game was the regular instead of ultimate which then lead to poor customer support. My client has issues crashing and i do not care for the organization of the games or the storefront.
