Hello,

Witcher 3, a game that I have had no problems with up until now, keeps crashing during the cutscene where Geralt finds Yennefer. Literally the end of the Lilac and Gooseberries quest, where I assume they get chased by The Wild Hunt (I don't actually know as the game crashes during that very moment).

I'm not sure what the issue is? Could it be the mods I have installed? I haven't installed anything too crazy and I would've thought if it was an issue with them it would've manifested before.

PC - Version 4.04 Direct X 12 version.

25 mods: Mod Limit Adjuster, Brothers in Arms, Friendly HUD, Always Full XP, Witcher Ability Icons Redone, Increased Finisher Chance, Grammar of The Path, DLC Names From The Path, Unread Descriptions, Realistic Weather, Brutal Face Mod, Better Torches, Characters Reworked Project, Realistic Eyes, Better Trophies, Basic Cooking Recipes, DLC Stashes, DLC Fast Travel Pack, HDMR, Lamp on Player's Boat, Reworked Hair and Beard, Upscaled UI Gwent, Disable Face Lights, News Signs FX Yrden

Specs:

Windows 10 Pro 64bit

AMD Ryzen 7 3700X

16GB Memory

AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT

1440p Monitor

As for game settings, I have it on Ultra.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Try loading a save, one which is earlier than immediately before the cut scene. If, when the scene loads again, the game crashes, try a lower graphics setting than Ultra.

If you still have the same crash, try removing all of the mods and adding them back, just a few at a time until it crashes again. Maybe, in this way you are able to pinpoint and eliminate the source of the bottleneck.

Finally, make certain that any new driver updates for your hardware have been installed; often there are helpful videos on YouTube, as well.
