after 1.10 patch, it immediately crashes when i try to start the game
did the verify/repair, no change
event log says

UPDATE: i used the solution from stenchysocks, and that worked for GoG version as well
I was just having the same issue, but I fixed it. What I did was rename the d3d11.dll file to d3d11_BACKUP.dll and dxgi.dll to dxgi_BACKUP.dll, and now the game loads just fine.
