The SP costs €24.99 and the first DLC only €8.49 which isn't even half of the SP price. Do you think that the second dlc will cost so much the SP is actually worth because of the discount?

I'am unsure about buying the SP atm because I saw the low price of the first DLC and thought that buying the SP doesn't give a discount.

One tank of gasoline (car) will cost you about 50,00 €. Lasts roughly two weeks.
Do you think twice about buying?

Five packages of your fav cigarettes will cost you roughly 25,00 €.
Do you think twice about buying?

If you are more of the booze kind >> two bottles of your brew will cost you anything from 10.00 € to XX,X € - side effects will last one or two mornings.
Do you think twice of buying?

The upcoming sequels for W3 will keep you busy for weeks, might be months depending on your playing style.
Meaning: there are some things in life that one can not do without.
W3 in all its forms is one of them :).

The first part of the season pass, Hearts of Stone is a 10 hour adventure. The second one, Blood and Wine, will be twice that size at 20 hours. That's where the small price comes from.
Also, Blood and Wine will expand the existing world. While Hearts of Stone will only add quest/story in the current world.
Thx for the infos I will buy the SP then :)

I came here thinking this would answer my question, which is similar. There are only 2 things in the season pass right? This and the blood and wine thing. If there is a 15% discount for a preorder for each of them as they come out, why would I buy the season pass which has no discount? Or is the discount factored in? I totally want to pay whatever I need to to get both of the expansions, but which one will end up being a better deal? Getting the SP now or just getting each of them for 15% off just before they come out individually??

Came here to the forums looking for the answer to your question aswell :/
This discount on the first expansion does not incite to take the season pass, indeed.

EDIT: I didn't bought the discount before cause they did a discount on the season pass. Those who bought the season pass at launch were aggrieved, just because of their loyalty. This marketing politic is not fair at all.

That isn't strictly true. HoS expands the world to the NNE of Oxenfurt and opens previously closed areas in Oxenfurt itself. This is what we know so far from PR stuff. The new areas aren't huge, but they are "new" areas within the context of the existing NML/Novigrad region.

B&W will add a complete new region so there is a difference in *how* the new area is added, and it will be larger than the additions/differences in HoS.
