happyfairytail: So I'm guessing none of these have been fixed since...June?

Why do games keep going to mediums like GoG etc? I miss the good old days when you dont have to rely on other third party servers to play the original game. =(
+1
Why????

Same story here for a few weeks now!! Server Problems, cannot update to new patch!! Please people, sort this shit out! We paid for a game and would like to continue playing it with the new updates.

Like a previous user said. This is also the first game that I have bought on GoG. IT WILL BE THE LAST because of this shit!!!
Australian gamer here. Just recently bought a copy of Witcher 3 from our local EBGames store and I've been trying to install it over the last 4 days. Yes it took me 4 days to install this game due to constant server problems. At one time I had to reboot my pc 5 times in a row in the hope of getting the download to resume in GoG Galaxy. I understand it's a big game however this is a ridiculous amount of time devoted to installation and troubleshooting before you can even start playing. Games are supposed to provide us with entertainment not frustration. Even now I'm still running a somewhat playable but corrupted copy of the game. Every time I try to verify/repair the installation GoG Galaxy says "Server Problem" right after trying to get the file list. As a result I have to put up with some screwed up geometry/texture around the message board, the windmill, the cliffs around White Orchard, and the well in the abandoned village. Emrhy's chamberlain is also glitched out and won't move when I'm supposed to follow him to the meeting with the emperor of the Nilfgaardians, so I basically cant get past the prologue at the moment. Long story short I won't buy another game on GoG until they can prove to me that they're working on fixing the server issues. For now, Steam is far superior to GoG Galaxy

Yeah I am having some of the same issues as you I think. My game is corrupted to hell right now so the npc's are constantly bugging out and the geometry around buildings and cliffs is dropping off into holes of oblivion. Tried literally everything the devs and GOG support have suggested, but can't repair the game because of the stupid "Server Problems". Been spending my spare time out of work trying to fix this damn issue but after 4 days, I am starting to get a bit pissed.

Hopefully someone finds a solution.

Dude the GoG Galaxy servers are fucked. Don't bother any more. Might as well remove it from your system

You're be better off just downloading the whole game and the patches from the gog website using GoG downloader. If you have GoG Downloader installed but haven't figured out how to use it, here's the how-to: Once you've logged into the website in your browser, click on Account and select Library in the drop down list. This will take you to your game collection. Find your Witcher 3, hover your mouse cursor over it and you'll see a small button marked with a downward pointing ^ sign. Click on it and select View Downloads. You can now see all the downloads available to your game. Click on the button that says More, and select GoG Downloader Links in the drop-down list. In the page that ensues, every link you click on should automatically activate GoG Downloader when download starts

Hope this helps. Took me a week to figure out. Good luck

I'm seriously disappointed by how bad GoG Galaxy is. YES I KNOW IT'S ON BETA. It doesn't give them the excuse to be completely useless for pretty much the biggest selling game on their website.

After spending hours and hours to complete the updates (because of server problems all the time), when I finally started playing, game gets corrupted by itself. Now that I'm trying to repair/verify it, effing servers having problems AGAIN.

[SOLVED]

Hi, I had the same problem as you have, I couldn't update nor repair the game, since there was an error, which told me there were server problems. I solved this problem yesterday, by copying my witcher 3 files into another folder on my normal HDD(I saved Withcer 3 originally on my SSD) and then deletingg them from my SSD. Then, after that, I re-downloaded and installed Witcher 3 and didnt get the error! Let me know if this helped you :)

Well this is hard to do because the witcher 3 is already installed in the HDD...

Then try to simply copy it into another folder, and delete the original folder afterwards. Should bring the same result.
