flatiron: Is there any point in replaying the first 2 games? Will it be like the second game where if you played the first and transfered you save you get little interactions based on the first?
Yeah there's next to nothing that carries over. It's not quite as jarring as the 2nd game totally ignoring the existence of Shani if you romanced her in TW1, though it does ignore certain decisions you made. You won't find many references to your actions in TW2. Depending on how you treated Aryan La Valette in the prologue, you get a different short scene at one point with his mom. Your Geralt may still have the tattoo on his neck if you kept that in TW2. There's a few things like that, but nothing major at all. The most interesting thing is if you let Letho live or not. That opens up a nice new quest if you did.
Thing is, if you start a fresh game of TW3, you're asked questions early in the game about your previous actions so you can basically customise a TW2 save that way.
