NEVER MIND, just bit the bullet and redownloaded. Thanks, though.
Original Post:
Hey there, I'm having a very specific problem with The Witcher 2, and was looking for a solution that didn't involve uninstalling and redownloading the game (especially since the actual game launches fine from the application in the "bin" folder.)
I recently had to reinstall my OS after it crashed when I changed CPUs. Moved some files around, but everything is still installed. (Like I said, I can directly launch the game fine)
- When I try to bring up the "launcher" nothing happens
- When I try to run "configurator" (in "bin") it tells me it could not find a valid installation, and I need to reinstall the game. Is there an alternative to this?
Thanks, all. Also, PSA: back-up your hard drives before making *any* hardware changes! Don't be like me. I'm not that cool.
