Hey, look what happened to this thread while I was gone...
Just to clear things up, I'd never said CDP WERE misogynistic, just that they'd been called that over the nude cards from Witcher 1 and would probably be called that again over this.
In addition, I found this "photo shoot" to be gratuitous and giving Triss the wrong kind of attention.

I have to respectfully disagree. All you've said would be true if Triss were posing or appearing in the game, where the broader context of the game is apparent and in which her character is indeed not marred by being sexy.
However, the Playboy spread is completely separate from the game. It's in a different medium and targets a different (if somewhat overlapping) audience. As such, it represents an interesting, powerful woman merely as a sexual object and so it's clearly (to me, at least) objectification, and bad form.
