zombiesecurity: Surprisingly nothing about misogyny. So many female gamers give Witcher the cold shoulder because of Geralt's frolicking, but seems like it wasn't a problem to Webb. Very happy for CDPR with that 5 out of 5.
May be because you don't get trophy cards in this game. Or because from the scenes I saw(just Triss) the game actually had tasteful encounters (roses pool thing).
A lot of female gamers give it the cold shoulder *without having played it* because of a perception based on a lot of comments that the game has nudity and thus they assume it must be sexist. Nudity does not equal sexism, though. It definitely caters more to males than females in terms of the sex, but on the other hand, it's easily skippable. And while some of the *characters* are sexist, that doesn't make the game itself sexist, though some people can't seem to grasp this. Trust me, there are plenty of female Witcher fans, I am one, and I know there are several others on the forums here. Webb's smart enough to get it.
