I've got the antidote for the kayran's venom, got Sile with me and have hacked off four of the kayran's tentacles. The kayran is at about 30% heath, however, there's is nothing I can do to lower it's health any further and if the game guide is to be believed some QTE should occur. What happens is that the kayran using it's two remaining tentacles just keeps throwing rubble at me (I'm hiding behind a large piece of masonry). This continues with the kayran health staying about 30% and NOT dying. Any suggestions would be very, very appreciated.

QTE should happen after you cut off 3 tentacles,then the fight should go into "phase 2" where you kill the kayran.

cut off four tents the qte kicks in lower ur resolution i was stuck for 2 days their

Left of you should be a part of collapsed bridge. The part resembles a female monk. Run up and dodge tentacles and stones. As you run to the end of it, Geralt will do the rest.

Yes,but that goes after the QTE,and if I understand correctly,mcsquared didn't do it.

He says it's throwing rubble at him, so he has to have already done the QTE, I think (the one where you go for a ride).

There's vid's on Youtube if you get -really- stuck. I got stuck here, too. You have to run to the left of the masonry you hide behind (time it so you don't get nailed as you run), and up atop the bridge.

Quen is helpful in this situation, also.

Got it! Thanks to everyone for your input. The Youtube video did the trick as it showed that after hacking off four tentacles, you run up an inclined slab that the kayran threw at you and that leads to the cut scene of Geralt finishing off the beast. As a side, I have my resolution at 1920 x 1080; I personally don't think that's a major factor.

I've been down there twice and the thing still lives. I keep forgetting to drink my antidote and figured a shot of Rook couldn't hurt either. Haven't been in too big off a hurry to get back into it with that thing. : )
