Hey guys. So I played Act 3 with Iowerth, I saved just before talking to Philipa, and, well, one choice is a clear win-win situation, that is - to help her, instead of going after Triss.

If you go help Triss, you practically condemn Saskia as a slave, and Iowerth is half dead.

On the other hand, if you get the dagger from Philipa, you get to release Saskia, Iowerth doesn't get blasted and Letho rescues Triss for you.

Unlike other choices this one offers little to think about in what's better.
Well you're not supposed to know that Letho will defend Triss, so you need to go with your gut. I personally went for Triss since I made Geralt declare his love to her more than once throughout the game despite the numerous flings.

I also didn't feel comfortable letting the woman in control of a dragon out of her cage.
She gets out of the cage regardless, if you listen to the dialog.. I know Im not "supposed" to know, as I didn't know. I just decided to see what would happen and, well, the results are obviously better.
If you didn't know that Letho would protect her and you shouldn't have it is a pretty tough decision to make.

I decided on freeing Saskia, I didn't think Eilhart would double cross me again in her state and I couldn't trust her to have control of a dragon. That and Saskia saved my hide earlier (canonically, I was kicking Dethmold's ass, but she turned into a dragon and dragons > redheads)

I was RELIEVED when I saw Triss safe and sound because I DIDN'T KNOW what would happen to her.
Same ass, sheikh212.

I blasted everyone in the undergound passage when I was with Saskia and strangely enough Dethmold was about to finish me off. I felt bad for her after I saved Triss so I reloaded, and when I made the choice to help Saskia I was almost sure I'd be letting Triss to die, but whoop she was alive, and I saved Saskia, and Iorweth wasn't half dead.
