[edit] Somehow, the issue resolved itself without me doing anything. I don't know how or why, but alas, it is fixed. The only issue now is some minor audio skipping during cut scenes.
Ok, so, I'm at the begging of the game (The Prelude) and I'm at the bit with the dragon. Up to this point I have been playing since 10am this morning. It's taking me over 1/3 hour to load.
Note that I mean the save, not the game. The game it self loads really fast from the get go, but as soon as I select load and any save point, I can be sitting there for over 15 mins at a time just waiting to load. Of course if I die, I have to wait ANOTHER 15 mins to load which is ridiculous and I don't want to play this game because of it. I wasn't going to say anything but after looking on google all friggon day looking for an answer, all I get all the time is "wow, wicther 2 loads faster than witcher 1".. Well, not for me. I have defragged my PC, run a virus scan, I have done everything i can think of and nothing. When I go to config and detect my settings (to make sure that there isn't an issue with my hardware) it auto detects HIGH for me, so, there isn't an issue hardware wise, I have loads of space on my HDD, It's defragged... So what the hell could it be?
