So.. I figured that I did some solid investigating so far, but Geralt is stumped when asked how the Chalice got into Saskia's hands.

Been working on this quest for a few hours and am just too tired of running and backtracking and whatnot, so can anyone tell me the solution to this?
Not at that point yet myself, but if you got the game on GOG, don't you have the guide available as well?
The guide isn't terribly helpful, really. Pretty rudimentary stuff, bit disappointing.
As far as I know, there's no way to conclusively decide one way or another on who's at fault, so if you're tying yourself up into knots to do so.... ;p

I'm totally open to be proven wrong though.

You can find out who gave the order to poison Saskia though the problem is its not exactly a short thing (you have to solve the dream crystal quest before, find the dream of the murdered dwarven rune master, solve his murder and solve his riddle.

So i think if you were to focus on the curse quest at the beginning you might actually get the dream crystal before the "lynchmob" scene. And you could potentially be able to tell who did it (i knew who did it, but only after Stanis was already in jail)

All those quests have nothing at all to do with the solution, but during the quest you kill someone who was your prime suspect and find proof in his chest ,p
