Hello all, just finished my first playthrough of the game going down the iorveth path. For any insane person who has already finished the game twice or who is on their second playthrough, how different is the game if you go with roche? It seems to me like a large portion of the game would have to be different, both in terms of settings and quests. Anyone care to comment?

I only played through Roche's path, but I looked through the game guide to se what I missed, and apparently, the end of chapter 1, most of chapter 2 and possibly some of chapter 3 (depending on your choice between Triss and your ally) are different.

That's a pretty big chunk of the game, so it's worth replaying the game again imo, but I'll wait a while before doing so.
Yes, it's very different. In fact, I don't personally think it even counts as finishing a playthorugh until you've played both sides. Whichever side you play second is also going to be richer in a sense than the side you played first, as there are a lot of events and dialogues that take on deeper meaning now that you have knowledge of what's going on and what went on with the other side. I finished both sides yesterday, and really wish they'd figured out a way to force you to do so as I'm sure there will be a percent of players who never bother to replay at all, and thus miss out on a good chunk of the story.

I just started with Iorveth path too, middle of the act II but not enjoyed much so far though. idk what future gameplay brings. Beat going down Roche path before and it was really fun (except the poor ending).
