I wanted to ask about gaining XP. I'm level 8 right now in Flotsam completing quests. I just finished Troll Trouble for about 125 xp, and then went around and killed some bandits afterwards, but wasn't receiving any xp for killing these bandits. Does this seem right?
Can anyone enlighten me with answer to this, if this is normal? Or how it is supposed to be? Thank you.
The enemies are not scaled to your level through the whole game, so you have probably outleveled the bandits a bit. Quests always give you xp (1000xp is needed for each level). I'm assuming they made it this way so you couldnt grind your way to level 35 in the first act and then just smash faces for the rest of the game.
There seems to be some level cap in place. For example I reached chapter 3 and started killing some enemies on my way to the first story point, I was level 27 but game said I had 28063 XP and killing enemies didn't seem to fix that. Once I gained XP from a quest, I started making regular XP again.

Weird game design is weird.
Haha, I was 2/3 the way through chapter 2 and wasn't gaining any xp after lvl 20 and thought it was a bug, this is probably what happened. Too bad I deleted those saved games, but that's alright, playing through again is just as fun.
