Im running the game on a mediocre system and have tried everything i could research on how to pass this
I lowered my res, raised sensitivity, switched between difficult qtes and nothing seems to work. I get the bar full with the LMB and still get shaken off by the monster. Space is prompted as ppl said it should be. the bar doesnt disappear until i've been shaken off even when full.
I really like this game so i would really appreciate a solution to this problem

If you disable difficult QTE's this shouldn't even be happening.

Sometimes it takes longer to "switch phases" as the graphics has to catch up.

So ... try and start mashing the button before the prompt appears on screen?

I know there are a few combats where you can start moving while the screen is still dark, so maybe it's similar.

He shouldn't have to do anything once he destroys the tentacles. Geralt should automatically mount, then dismount, before the tentacle hits the bridge. The QTE should indeed be entirely disabled.

Sorry I didn't quite get you. Do you get a "space" prompt or not?

I think it's more of a BUG than the fault of QTE. I think i have to Right Click to hop onto Kayran's last tentacle and while riding the tentacle, i only need to left click repetitively till i was swing to the spot behind a rock.

More to mouse input problem to me. Perhaps you should highlight what is your model of your mouse so that CDPR can fix the bugs?
