Yeah, the downloader, instead of complete .bin files which is what you get through browser download, downloads a bunch of chunk files - which are supposed to be combined into complete .bin files, the ones seen on my pic, when the download completes. Either the downloader is not combining the chunk files properly or you haven't downloaded enough chunk files yet to combine into .bin files.

It has stopped exactly at 9602mb as well. So I guess (hoping) that it's intentional

Well I checked again and it turned out that for me it's actually 9602,376 megabyte.

We're screwed! :(

yeah, that sounds about right, since the whole download won't actually complete before downloading the .exe on the 17th that's probably why it's not combining the chunks yet.

I still say it's alot easyer to just download everything via browser though, at least for those with stable connections where the chances of corruption are neglegible.

Yep 9602 here,anybody tried closing the gog downloader and see if it stays at 9602 ??.

Yeah, that's where it stays. If you look in the downloader's download directory, there will be a boatload of ".chunk" files. The last file should be "setup_the_witcher_2-5.bin.chunk31", and its size should be 44,648 KB.

If you quit and later reopen the downloader, it will remember that it is "Paused".

Something had changed. I d/l the initial files on the day of release and the downloader DID combine them all.

I had to redownload the files and the recombining did NOT happen. I d/l them another 5-6 times for various tests.

GOG.com or somebody changed something without letting on.
