Probably a stupid question but I want to be sure before trying it. If you play on insane and lose, the game wipes your save files and you have to start from scratch. My question is, does it erase ALL your save files or just the insane saves? I just beat it on normal mode and just started on hard, if I play it on insane I don't want every single one of my saves to get erased...

Just move your save files if you are worried about losing them, doubt it would effect previous game saves though.

You must be insane. Let us know how far you get.

If you die on insane, it keeps your save files there, however all the files that were saved on insane are then locked. (Only the save files that say difficulty insane on the list, all other difficulties are left alone.)

The game shows a symbol over top of the preview to show that it is a failed playthrough.
