Well as embarrassing as this may be I seem to be stuck and can not find the way on in the section “To the Temple”.

I am trying to find the underground passage. The only hint in the guide is “find a wooden door by a barricade leading to a backyard with a well that is the passage.

I have gone down the steps from the king and searched everything straight ahead where you are told not to loiter and the streets to the left at the bottom of the steps where at the end a cart is pushed across the alley to prevent progress and you are told to find another way.

Well that was three nights ago now. I have searched everything I can think of. Must have all the possible herbs you can get now. I have pressed “Z” at everything and can not seem to be able to progress.

I have not found “Crinfrid Reavers Newboy” yet so I expect I have missed something or have not reached that part of the city yet.

Now I do not play a lot of these sort of games but I did not expect to get lost so quickly since it will only get harder from here.

Can anyone give me a hint on how to get to the back alley that the cart has blocked.

I went down a well.

Go back to the area where the townspeople are lined up against the walls. Game should guide you from there. GL

You are correct. It was in a place I checked with the "Z" key many times, where the soldier is sitting down dead in an old wooden bit between two buildings.

Now since my post above tonight I have been back to that spot 4 times and always pressed the "Z" key to try and see something and swung my sword at the back of the structure.

Now on the about the 5 time tonight and about the unteenth time overall I go back and the back is missing letting me pass.

I must have triggered something in the game that opens up the back as I did not bash it down. I hope there are not too many spots like this one.

Need to use Aard to break down walls. Rather unintuitive, but I guess axes and air blasts are more suited to chopping wood than swords.

There is a dead end not far from the cart (on the right side) near the prisoners.

use Ard to break the wall. (you should see a pop up telling you what to do)
