having problem with quest "Scence of the Insence " in act 1. I chose to lie to the guy he locks me in a cage i bust the door down grab my equipment to kill the guys when i equip it shows the sword on my back but i cant use it is this a bug...they own me in 2 hits everytime i try to attempt it.

You need to make sure you're not in a combat stance (ie: fist fighting) when you grab your gear.

You drop into that stance when you cast a sign without a weapon to wield. Don't run out immediatly. You should drop back to normal out-of-combat stance as they all draw their weapons. THEN go and grab your gear.

It's probably a bug (not being able to unsheathe your sword if you're already in combat stance with no weapons equipped), so you have to be careful not to get yourself into that situation. I ran into the same issue and had to reload a few times before getting myself to revert back to out-of-combat stance. Good luck! :)
