Hi all! I'm really enjoying the game so far, but sometimes it is really hard or even imposible to loot some things. For example, at the prologe, on the docks, after leaving the dungeons there are a few sacks that glows when I use the medallion, but no matter how hard I try I cant loot them (the hand icon to loot dont apear).

Also, some times, inside the dungeon, I use the medallion and I see some glows on the floor, but there's nothing to use... anyone else have this problem?
some of the glows indicate you can set things on fire or are quest related spots, sometimes you don't look for hand to appear to loot items you just walk near the area press the left mouse button and hold it then start pressing spacebar

Puddles. I noticed in the Dungeons of La Valette, that using the medallion would cause the small puddles of water to highlight with the Orange/Red colour. I'm only at the start of Chapter 1 now, so haven't seen if small puddles, or water in general, play a part or have some mechanic attached to them at all... maybe traps are better hidden in little puddles or something.

Yeh looting is a bit hit and miss aiming at loot can be tricky and also finding loot can be hard it needs to standout better, also the ability to choose what loot to collect would be good.

instead of space bar, which gets everything, just select the items you want one by one from the box that shows up after you grab.
If you find yourself constantly overshooting the zone the game uses to let you loot a particular mob or whatever (and yes, I found it does that at times), I quickly found that pressing shift for those moments helps a lot in making sure Geralt isn't constantly going back and forth and overshooting. Holding shift makes him walk.

They could certainly expand the zone the game uses to tell if he can loot something though.
puddles and baskets, etc just mean you'll alert someone close by when you knock it over.

+1 Use the shift key when approaching stuff. Makes it a lot easier - especially when picking up traps in the forest. Can't tell you how many times I walked up to a trap to disable it so I could pick it up - and walked right into it. "SNAP". Using shift lets you walk slowly enough to stop before you hit it!
sometimes it's really hard to see the loot pack especially in the forests. I always run for a clean area to fight just for seeing the loot bag. it's annoying.
Pressing Z to activate your medallion does wonders in highlighting loot! And other things! ;p
