Now i know that this forum is full of fan boys and that i would be trolld to death after writing this, but dont you think that the game is half done. The prologue and the first act is the best rpg stuff i have ever seen, the second is really mediocre and i was starting to loosing interest in the game, the third act is really something ugly and short.
Dont you think that if they would made the game with 5 acts like the 1st one it possibly would be the best game ever?

I was hoping the game would be 5 chapters with an epilogue like the first, sure. I personally think that Chapter 2 is absolutely fantastic (although I've only done the Roche side so far) with its heavy and evil curse looming over everything you do.

I was kinda going through motions in the army camp and then the final chapter and didnt even do the side quests (from the notice board).

Chapter 2 and 3 could be much much stronger!

And yes, there could be a chapter 4 as the story shouldnt end on Lethos and Sile with the information you get!

But I could also see The Witcher 3 being Geralt going against Nilfgard and story unfolding there and then The Witcher 4 with Geralt going againt the Wild Hunt which is in a parrallel dimension and has a elf protagonist.

Lots of loose ends and about only thing im sure on is there will be a part 3!

Though Id sure love if they released a 20-30 hour expansion for part 2 picking up at end of chapter 3 and concluding the sorceress acadamy storyline portion of game!

Remember, this is their engines and learning to use a engine and everything is normally the hardest and longest portion of game making. Part 2 took 4 years, I can honestly see part 3 taking 1-2 years max.

Like the first game? No. The first few chapters of the first game were interminable. Widely considered dull and tedious, and a hump a lot of people never got over to get to the better parts of the game.

Yes, because its a good game, I'd always like to see more of a good thing. In some theoretical scenario where they delivered 5 chapters of the same outstanding quality, then sure. But Ill take these three exciting chapters over a longer collection of hit and miss with a lot of tedium, backtracking, and filler.

I don't have a problem with the length of the game or any chapter in particular but I do think the game became too convoluted towards the end. Even for fans of The Witcher universe, there just seemed to be too many names being thrown around (locations and people). I really had a hard time keeping track of what exactly was going on and what significance different things had. I'm not one for saying stories should be made more simple but just make it a little clearer so it can all be taken in.
