I'm in Act III and instead of following a certain npc I went the other way to see if I could force my way through the Order Knights. I've been killing them for about an hour but it seems like they keep magically appearing where I killed them. Is there an end to it? Or does the game force you to go the other way if the Order Knights are hostile to you?

Doesn't fighting for an hour kind of answer this question? :/

Nah, in Gothic 3 freeing a town would take about that long or longer depending on your level.......sooooo many dead orcs, ugh.

I really wish I could slaughter them all, oh well maybe a mod or something will come out to stop the respawn.

Yeah, the "look at their camp" quest hint seems wrong.

I spent a few hours fighting them also, sure some kind of quest hint or something would kick in if I got a look at their camp. Put out tons of traps, and had to backpedal all the way up that mountain pass as I fought the knights (at least Iorveth would help out then).

I don't know how many I killed but there seemed to end to their numbers. I couldn't even get to their crossbowmen.

You can fight them? I just rolled up and gave Siegfried a bro hug and a fist bump, and he let me pass.

When I got up there they told me I'd killed Siegfried, and the fight was on!

Yea, my W1 save was pro-order. I like the squirrels, but Siegfried is also damn hard not too like. He actually doesn't try to backstab you.

I thought Siegfried rocked. He really was what every Knight of the Order should have been.

I was very unhappy that we became enemies because I wanted to support the Squirrels. Hell, he was the guy I invited to Shani's party - we all got drunk as skunks.

He has a funny hair style though. Which is why I picked Yaevinn.
