I've never had the 3D Drivers installed, and I have updated to the new NVidia Beta drivers. My computer has been defragmented after installing the game, and is coming off a fresh reformat last week. Despite everything I can find online, these fixes should have solved my problem but haven't.

When the game starts, I get anywhere from 30-40 FPS. As I play, however, I can usually load three or four areas before the frames plummet to single-digits, and do not restore themselves to the 30-40 FPS until after a complete computer restart (simply restarting the game with the same or lowered graphical settings results in 15 FPS max no matter what the options are set to). This happens despite the graphical settings. The automatic scan sets most options to High (I manually turn off SSAO and Ubersampling is Disabled by default), and even changing everything to Low or Disabled still causes the problem of a decaying framerate as I play the game for 30+ minutes.

Is anyone else still having this problem even after applying the numerous fixes out there, or better yet, is anyone aware of another fix to solve this? The game is fantastic when it works, but playing a lengthy RPG in 30-minute chunks just isn't feasible. Thanks.
