i´ve got a new problem. The crashes, i mentionned in another thread seem to come when it starts raining ingame. What the hell could this be? Please help! :(

My specs: GTX 480
i5 760 CPU
4 gigs Ram
win 7 64bit

push. it´s so annoying. I really love the game :(

I am just guessing here , but chashes when it's raining might be due old sound card drivers , update your sound card drivers.

Driverupdate button of my sounddevice is greyed out. its an onboard soundcard :( seems up to date

Try a clean boot on Windows 7 , mabe some program on the background is messing up your sound or video drivers? are your video drivers up to date?

yep, i updated my video drivers the day before witcher 2 came out. I will try the clean boot tomorrow. i have to go to bed now. it´s 2.30 am here. ;) Thanks for your help mate!
