Basically what the title says,
i just got to chapter 1 in the witcher 2 and well was wondering should i finish the first 1 or finish the 2nd 1 than play the first 1 and replay tw2

If possible, you should:

1) Read the books
2) Then play W1
3) Then play W2

As W1 continues on after the books, and W2 continues on after W1. You're obviously free to play W2 before W1 and never ever read any of the books.

I'm sure you'll be fine with the story if you just play W2, but you'll miss a lot of small details if you go into it a Witcher virgin so to speak.

You should definitely play through the original first.

Obviously, you can play TW2 first and then mess about with TW1 and the books, but you'll miss a lot of the references in TW2. If you are patient enough, at least play the first game and then come back to the second. The books are a nice addition. Maybe read them in tandem with your games?

TW1 is great. It's not essential to play it first but you'll appreciate the second more in terms of the evolution, the added bonuses (equipment, money), and reflected choices.

Witcher 1 is a really immersive game. Go for it first I'd say you would not be disappointed. Can't say that for most games these days.

Well, i have read half of the book as for the witcher 1 i played till i got to vizima
than i lost my saves so another reason i don't want to restart and get there while tw2 is well mindblowing compared to tw1 which feels well the music makes it a bit darker than tw2
hmm i do understand the references, but i have a question will tw2 spoil the whole of tw1 for me or no?

I only got through Vizima in TW1 and I'm in Ch.2 of TW2 now, but based on that and interviews, from what I gather some stuff will be spoiled but mostly they are pretty separate stories.
