I use all of the other signs but I never really got into this one. Any tips for use? It takes too long to charm when there is a group of baddies and doesn't last long if you get it off.

I used it some in the prologue and chapter 1 but I haven't used it much lately. I imagine it gets a lot better if you get the ability that lets you control 3 enemies at once.

It doesn't. You have to take control of each of the three individually, which there really isn't time for on account of, you know, them hacking you into bite-sized pieces and all.

i did go out of my way to use Yarden when i just did not feel like fighting to get though the map so i just turn it on and run...

then there was AXII,,,, only used it like once because every other time i tried it did not help at all

as for the last one.... fun to use in narrow paths when you just wanted to relax and watch the mayhem... of course those monsters got wize and learned how to glitch though they though run over it, it would activate and no damage was applied to that monster ever

They should fix Axii to make the charmed creatures more deadly or to be able to use it faster...I didn't use it in TW1 either. I like what they've done with Yrden and Quen though.

Yrden feels a bit too powerful actually.

but i do like quen
On my playthrough on normal, i think i used Axii once on the fight with Ayran in the prologue, i normaly use, in order of use quen, ard and yrden.

However i did specialise in the sword tree.
You could use it on wraith's (two spawn at once), and alternate between the target's of the sign since it also buff the one beeing controlled, just to get them down evenly.
And be sure to get some distance to make it work ;)

Other then that I'we not found it all to usefull.
Ambush -> Quen -> Run/Roll away -> Axii. If you do it properly it will tie up two enemies (the hexed enemy should draw one of them away from targetting you) for enough time for you to take down a third enemy, or to hex some more.
