I read another post that said the activation wont work because the server is down. When I try to activate I get a message asking for my activation code, which i type in and then then it says its looking for updates, but nothing happens. Since I am now hoping this is because the servers are down and not because I have a problem with my installation, i would like to know how to input the code.
This may sound stupid.....but do I include the - between each phrase?
Once I am activated I wont need to use online features again?
Its really annoying not to be able to play a game I bought a laptop for.
Any idea when this might be ready to work again?

you can download a manual activation patch from the witcher website (community tab). I just had to do this myself as evertime i switch pc off and on again the game wont load up (witcher 2 stops responding), only work around for me mis to reinstall the game again.ive had enough tho and its uninstalled again until the patches arrive.
