I an not ranting, i just asked a question. If anyone knows anything that Sawyer said in relation to arcane spells in any interview. And explained why they are complete trash on nwn2.

Sorry for committing the ultimate heresy of """"breaking""" my game by making a D&D game more D&D like, the worst crime ever(with no victims). the idea that you should't mod a game is a console mindset that makes ZERO sense(genres like MOBA only exists thanks to mods and BUGthesda earn a lot of money thanks to mods).

If wasn't by spell fixes, i would never ever touch NWN2 again.

One last thing. Even with Spell Fixes, arcane casters on NWN2 are still weaker than on BG2. Spell fixes only fixes the spells in game. It doesn't add Stop Time, Wish, Chain Contigency and other things. Ahh, and enemies uses this spells against your party too. I've recently soloed BG2 on Legacy of Bhaal difficulty and needing to fight Liches who has a lot of immunities and can cast high tier magic BEFORE you can find a scroll to learn high tier magic was very hard BUT doable with the right strategy.

This is the difficulty which i enjoy. Being forced to talk to a boss only to be dispelled from all defenses by no reason and in ground 4 seconds, before you can even cast a ultra nerfed defensive spell, after the battle started, and unable to use any cool magical power is not fun or engaging. It is just BOOORING.
