Ran into something really strange yesterday while playing. I am going through the OC with a merchant rogue (maxing all conversation skills like bluff, diplomacy, etc) and focusing on recovering traps for extra money (nimble fingers, focus disable device), and minimal combat skills and feats, just point blank shot and rapid shot for using a bow safely in the back.

I decided to pick up 4 levels of shadow thief since i'm doing the non-watchman questlines, and about level 10ish thinking i had all the requirements met went to pick my first level of shadow thief class and couldn't. I couldn't figure out why because i had all the stuff..

bluff and imtimidate were maxed due to me maxing my conversation skills, the minimum hide and move silently for the class since i wasn't maxing those skills for normal play, and Stealthy feat of course. But i couldn't pick it.

Then i really examined my thief for what the problem was, and saw that for some weird buggy reason my thief skills had been totally rearranged, NOT the skills i had increased or worked up, but totally different as if I had just picked up a thief companion and they had all their skills raised as if "Recommend". My skill points in bluffing, diplomacy and such were gone, suddenly I had maxed craft trap, maxed out hiding and move silently, etc. TOTALLY different character than what i had been playing for 10ish levels. I was really baffled by what happened.

Of course thankfully i'm on a pc so i reset my character and had to level up again to what he was, but was the strangest bug i have ever ran into. It was like i was playing someone elses setup for my character who picked totally different skill level ups. I think my feats were the same (didn't check those actually) but my skill set was 100% rearranged from what i had leveled him up as. I hadn't used any console commands to change stuff of course so it wasn't something i accidently did while adjusting characters or anything. It was like the game just plopped in a new main character with recommended skills for me to use instead of the one i made up.

Just wondering if anyone ever ran into this strange problem before.
I believe I had a similar bug on my first rogue playthrough on the OC. But for God's sake i cant remember what i did or how i resolved the problem but i am positive i had my skills mixed up like that on the rogue game. I can write more if i remember it.
