Just kicked off a Persistent World on a remote server, getting some friends to join. On first session I levelled up everyone to level 3 using the DM client "give level" or "give XP" buttons and... well, two of my players couldn't level up to 3. Level 2 was fine, but when getting to level 3, they were receiving something like 65000 skill points and there was no way they could level up.

Weird, because the other players managed ok.

Has anyone got any clue about what this could be? I find it waaaaay weird...

Have to try with the console command to see if it works that way, but I'm stumped as to what this could be.

Thanks in advance for any wisdom/tips!

PS: Have NWN2, MoB, SoZ and MoW, latest version patch, english version. Some players have installed spanish versions.

Which game are you referring to?

In general, make sure all the players have the same version installed and any haks and/or overrides that your server might require, if any. Are you checking any of these metrics as part of their join procedure?
Doh! Sorry Chipster, forgot to specify it's NWN2...

All haks and pwc files are in order, and version updated to the same one (latest). Reckon its the language version?
And indeed, different player/server language versions was the problem!

Solved :) Thanks for the help Chip!

You can't in this instance.

When you make a thread, you can mark it as a "Question" topic. Once somebody answers the question, you can mark their post as the solution. (Move your mouse-cursor over their post. There should be something to select it as the answer.)

However, this thread isn't a "Question" topic, so you cannot mark it as solved.
